When Barbara Still was christened on 5 July 1716, in Lohn, Schaffhausen, Switzerland, her father, Michael Still, was 28 and her mother, Elisabeth Tanner, was 32. She married Georg Leu on 6 November 1738, in Lohn, Schaffhausen, Switzerland. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 5 daughters. She died on 21 December 1771, at the age of 55.
