He lived in Cass Township, Texas, Missouri, United States in 1850 and Grand River Township, Van Buren, Missouri, United States for about 20 years. He registered for military service in 1862. He died on 18 February 1910, in Harrisonville, Van Buren, Missouri, United States, at the age of 70, and was buried in Freeman Cemetery, Dolan Township, Van Buren, Missouri, United States.
