When Catharina Hansdotter was born on 20 October 1797, in Sweden, her father, Johannes Svensson, was 25 and her mother, Helena Andersdotter, was 23. She married Swen Nilsson on 1 October 1819, in Holsljunga, Västra Götaland, Sweden. They were the parents of at least 1 daughter. She lived in Håksvik, Älvsborg, Sweden in 1797. She died on 25 December 1863, in Angered, Älvsborg, Sweden, at the age of 66.
