When José Vicente Salinas Ramos was born in November 1774, in San Gregorio de Cerralvo, Nuevo León, Mexico, his father, Jose Miguel Victorino SALINAS SELVERA de los REYES, was 40 and his mother, María Rosalía RAMOS CANALES, was 34. He married María Juana Gonzalez Benavides on 16 September 1801, in Cerralvo, Nuevo León, Mexico. They were the parents of at least 1 son and 4 daughters. He died on 9 December 1836, in Cerralvo, Nuevo León, Mexico, at the age of 62.
