When Kristina Vikman was born on 29 April 1876, in Överkalix, Norrbotten, Sweden, her father, Johannes Wikman, was 34 and her mother, Katarina Magdalena Henriksdotter, was 30. She married Johan Alfred Persson on 28 April 1901. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 6 daughters. She lived in Jokkmokk, Norrbotten, Sweden in 1897 and Jukkasjärvi, Norrbotten, Sweden for about 10 years. She died on 13 March 1949, at the age of 72.
