When Annica Olfsdotter was born on 25 August 1772, in Bäckaby, Jönköping, Sweden, her father, Olof Johansson, was 29 and her mother, Ingierd Olofsdotter, was 22. She married Johannes Svensson on 26 December 1797, in Nottebäck, Kronoberg, Sweden. They were the parents of at least 7 sons and 3 daughters. She died on 30 March 1849, in Lenhovda, Kronoberg, Sweden, at the age of 76, and was buried in Lenhovda, Kronoberg, Sweden.
