He lived in Deer Creek Township, Custer, Oklahoma, United States in 1900 and Hartman, Prowers, Colorado, United States for about 30 years. He died on 16 July 1963, in Phoenix, Maricopa, Arizona, United States, at the age of 97, and was buried in Masonic Cemetery, Custer City, Custer, Oklahoma, United States.
