When Rafael Rubalcava De Luna was born in 1809, in Zacatecas, Mexico, his father, Juan Antonio Luciano González De Ruvalcaba, was 45 and his mother, Antonia Dionicia De Luna Ortega, was 35. He married Maria Luisa Suarez de Estrada Rubalcava in 1831, in Juchipila, Zacatecas, Mexico. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 2 daughters. He died in 1883, in Juchipila, Zacatecas, Mexico, at the age of 74.
