Catharina Warmann was born on 31 December 1823, in Blasheim, Kreis Lübbecke, Westphalia, Prussia as the daughter of Gottlieb Warmann and Anne Marie Kleinschmidt. She married Heinrich Habighorst on 1 October 1848, in St. Louis, St. Louis, Missouri, United States. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 3 daughters. She lived in Saint Paul, Ramsey, Minnesota, United States for about 15 years. She died on 8 March 1891, in Portland, Multnomah, Oregon, United States, at the age of 67.

1825 · The Crimes Act

The Crimes Act was made to provide a clearer punishment of certain crimes against the United States. Part of it includes: Changing the maximum sentence of imprisonment to be increased from seven to ten years and changing the maximum fine from $5,000 to $10,000.

1830 · The Second Great Awakening

Being a second spiritual and religious awakening, like the First Great Awakening, many Churches began to spring up from other denominations. Many people began to rapidly join the Baptist and Methodist congregations. Many converts to these religions believed that the Awakening was the precursor of a new millennial age.
