When Anna Catharina Martius was born in 1658, in Hesse, Germany, her father, Johannes Martius, was 24 and her mother, Catharina, was 27. She married Peter Tritsch on 6 July 1676, in Lindenfels, Bensheim, Grand Duchy of Hesse. They were the parents of at least 6 sons. She died on 6 June 1722, at the age of 64, and was buried in Lindenfels, Bensheim, Grand Duchy of Hesse.
