When Kalolaine Lolohea was born on 4 November 1923, in Tu`anuku, Vava'u, Tonga, her father, Tevita Mafi Lolohea, was 37 and her mother, Lavinia Maile Laumomo Hala'api'api, was 34. She married Mosese Vaka'uta Tuita in December 1944, in Neiafu, Vava'u, Tonga. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 1 daughter. She died on 8 June 2003, in Havelu, Tongatapu, Tonga, at the age of 79, and was buried in Havelu, Tongatapu, Tonga.
