When Sarah Blethen was born in 1737, in Small Point, Phippsburg, Lincoln, Massachusetts, United States, her father, John Blethen III, was 31 and her mother, Hannah Keen, was 24. She married Francis Wyman on 4 December 1755, in Georgetown, Lincoln, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 5 daughters. She died in 1825, at the age of 88.
