Valentina Gómez Caldera was born about 1856, in Tanque de San Juan, Jerez, Zacatecas, Mexico as the daughter of Agustin Gómez and Benita Caldera. She had at least 6 sons and 8 daughters with Bartolo Carrillo Flores. She died on 1 May 1911, in her hometown, at the age of 56, and was buried in Jerez de García Salinas, Jerez, Zacatecas, Mexico.
