When Nikolaus Lorenzen was born on 21 February 1839, in Brarupholz, Schleswig, Schleswig-Holstein, Prussia, Germany, his father, Henning Lorenzen, was 49 and his mother, Anna Catharina Nissen, was 41. He married Anna Margaretha Moeller on 8 April 1866, in Steinberg, Groß Emmerschede, Tondern, Schleswig-Holstein, Prussia, Germany. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 4 daughters. He lived in Denmark in 1840. He died in 1911, at the age of 72.

1847 · Casino Theatre (Copenhagen)

The Casino Theatre was built as an entertainment center by Georg Carstensen but was converted into a theatre in 1848. After many years of never gaining popularity, it was closed in 1937 and demolished in 1960.
