When Bengt Pehrsson was born in 1684, in Haga, Värmland, Sweden, his father, Pahr Bengtson, was 32 and his mother, Kari Mathesdotter, was 30. He married Maret Olofsdotter on 5 June 1723, in Eda, Värmland, Sweden. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 1 daughter. He died on 28 January 1751, at the age of 67.
