When Kato Trygve Christopherson was born on 21 August 1898, in Dyrstad, Troms, Norway, his father, Daniel Edward Christopherson, was 33 and his mother, Hilda Antonia Marie Hansen, was 23. He lived in South Dakota, United States in 1920 and Norden Township, Deuel, South Dakota, United States in 1930. He died on 2 December 1979, in Hennepin, Minnesota, United States, at the age of 81, and was buried in Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota, United States.
