When Ole Aslaksen was born on 11 September 1854, in Gjernes, Ytre Søndeled, Aust-Agder, Norway, his father, Aslak Olsen, was 37 and his mother, Ingeborg Marie Rolfsen, was 29. He lived in Søndeled, Risør, Aust-Agder, Norway in 1854. He died on 26 October 1860, at the age of 6.
