When Hans Larsson was born on 3 August 1792, in Villie, Skåne, Sweden, his father, Lars Hansson, was 30 and his mother, Sissa Olasdotter, was 26. He married Maria Hansdotter on 9 November 1817, in Västra Nöbbelöv, Skåne, Sweden. They were the parents of at least 4 sons. He died on 13 February 1855, in Västra Nöbbelöv, Ljunits härad, Malmöhus, Sweden, at the age of 62, and was buried in Västra Nöbbelöv, Ljunits härad, Malmöhus, Sweden.
