When Susana Iafeta Nehumi was born about 1886, in Samoa, her father, Iafeta Nehumi, was 26 and her mother, Sovita Tuusa'o Taliausolo, was 22. She married John Hunt on 1 July 1908. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 6 daughters. She died on 20 October 1960, in Laie, Oahu, Hawaii, United States, at the age of 75, and was buried in Laie Hawaii Temple, Laie, Oahu, Hawaii, United States.
