When Peter Haesler was born about 1793, in Krattigen, Bern, Switzerland, his father, Peter Häsler, was 46 and his mother, Magdalena Amacher, was 36. He married Susanna Kummer on 27 June 1819. They were the parents of at least 3 daughters. He died on 4 May 1812, at the age of 20.
