When Margareta Nilsdotter was born on 7 January 1762, in Järnboås, Örebro, Sweden, her father, Nils Larsson, was 35 and her mother, Anna Andersdotter, was 42. She married Erik Olsson in 1788, in Sweden. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 3 daughters. She died on 13 May 1815, in her hometown, at the age of 53.
