When Anna Ringger was born on 17 November 1768, in Zürich, Switzerland, her father, Hans Rudolph Ringger, was 26 and her mother, Barbara Huber, was 24. She married Hans Jacob Lier on 19 January 1791. They were the parents of at least 1 son and 7 daughters. She died on 30 August 1841, at the age of 72, and was buried in Hausen am Albis, Zürich, Switzerland.
