When Yagna Gugas Kizerian was born on 6 May 1872, in Zara, Sivas, Türkiye, her father, Gugas Hohones Kizerian, was 35 and her mother, Goola Baboog Modoian, was 40. She married Sahag Khachig Gochian in 1886, in Zara, Sivas, Türkiye. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 2 daughters. She died on 15 May 1932, at the age of 60.
