They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 6 daughters. He lived in Jefferson, Illinois, United States in 1830. He died on 30 December 1854, in Mount Vernon, Jefferson, Illinois, United States, at the age of 78, and was buried in Old Union Cemetery, Mount Vernon, Jefferson, Illinois, United States.
