When Oluf Nilsson was born in 1711, in Köpinge, Gärd, Kristianstad, Sweden, his father, Nils Eschilsson, was 30 and his mother, Kerstin Persdotter, was 31. He married Ingar Svensson about 1745, in Kristianstad, Sweden. They were the parents of at least 2 sons. He died on 5 April 1759, in his hometown, at the age of 48.
