He married Antonette Nielsdatter Bagger on 14 March 1850, in Sundby, Dueholm, Denmark. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 3 daughters. He died on 14 May 1891, in Sundby, Morsø Nørre, Thisted, Denmark, at the age of 75.

1818 · Danmarks Nationalbank

1829 · Oldest Leather Goods in Denmark

Kuffert Sorensen was established in 1829 by Carl Peter Sorensen as a leather goods company. Today the business has five locations and each are run by a member of the Sorensen family.
