When Mary Linthicum was born about 1805, in Frederick, Maryland, United States, her father, Thomas Prather Linthicum, was 35 and her mother, Nancy Ann Williams, was 30. She married Stephen Cambron on 12 February 1828, in Nelson, Kentucky, United States. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 2 daughters. She died in 1837, at the age of 33.

Atlantic slave trade abolished.

1812 · Kentucky Bend Created

During the New Madrid earthquakes of 1811-1812, the Kentucky Bend or New Madrid Bend was created. It is located in the southwestern corner of Kentucky on the banks of the Mississippi River.

1818 · Jackson Purchase

The western part of Kentucky purchased by Andrew Jackson from the Chickasaw Indians in 1818. It became known as the Jackson Purchase. This included land that wasn't originally part of Kentucky when it became a state.
