Isaac Weideli was born on 3 May 1674, in Oberhofen bei Kreuzlingen, Thurgau, Switzerland as the son of Susanna Baumeister. He married Anna Margaretha Oschwald. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 5 daughters. He died on 23 December 1746, in his hometown, at the age of 72.
