She married Johannes Hansen Sr. on 22 August 1834, in Vestre Aker, Kristiania, Norway. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 3 daughters. She died on 16 April 1855, in Oslo, Norway, at the age of 41, and was buried in Østre Aker, Kristiania, Norway.
