He lived in Lime Creek Township, Washington, Iowa, United States in 1860 and York, Nebraska, United States in 1880. He died on 2 July 1887, in York, York, Nebraska, United States, at the age of 70, and was buried in Greenwood Cemetery, York, York, Nebraska, United States.
