Brief Life History of Alfredo Augusto
When Alfredo Augusto da Cunha Dantas was born in 1850, in Brava, Cabo Verde, his father, Victorino João Carlos Dantas Pereira, was 46 and his mother, Anna Joaquina Fernandes, was 28. He married Maria Alexandrina da Costa Pereira on 26 June 1872. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 2 daughters. He died on 15 December 1894, in his hometown, at the age of 44, and was buried in Brava, Cabo Verde.
