He lived in Tionesta Township, Venango, Pennsylvania, United States in 1830 and Le Boeuf Township, Erie, Pennsylvania, United States for about 10 years. He died on 24 March 1857, in Erie, Pennsylvania, United States, at the age of 83, and was buried in Mitchell Cemetery, Cambridge Township, Crawford, Pennsylvania, United States.
