She died on 22 September 1884, at the age of 50, and was buried in Wiltwyck Cemetery, Kingston, Ulster, New York, United States.

Being a monumental event in the Texas Revolution, The Battle of the Alamo was a thirteen-day battle at the Alamo Mission near San Antonio.
