When Johann Friedrich Bardua was born on 8 July 1764, in Böhl, Böhl-Iggelheim, Ludwigshafen, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, his father, Johann Marx Bardua, was 43 and his mother, Susanna Maria Schlentz, was 40. He married Elisabetha Götz from 31 December 1782 to 1 January 1786, in Galicia, Austria. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 1 daughter. He died on 3 June 1818, in Galicia, Austria, at the age of 53.
