Johanne Holsth was born in 1700, in Lier Hospital, Lier, Buskerud, Norway as the daughter of Anders Simonsen Holsth and Karen Augustinusdatter Flor Gjelstad. She married Engelhart Laursen Robsham about 1725, in Bragernes, Buskerud, Norway. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 1 daughter. She died on 17 November 1767, in Drammen, Drammen, Buskerud, Norway, at the age of 67.

1700 · Norwegian calendar change
1n 1700 Norway changed from the Julian Calendar to the Gregorian Calendar. The day after 18 Feb in the Julian Calendar became 1 March in the Gregorian calendar.
1736 · Confirmation & education
Law of 1736 legally established Confirmation in the Lutheran Church which led to organized education for all children. These became important records which the Pastor kept.
