  • Jonathan Scudder left a widow Mrs. Sarah (Brown) Scudder and a daughter Sarah Scudder b. 1681. Hist & Gen of Old Fairfield, v.1 refers to this daughter as "non compos mentis" meaning having mental disabilities—thus unlikely to marry Jonas Platt.
