Bodil Rasmussen was born in 1654, in Bøstrup, Tranekær, Denmark. She married Johannes Heichsen about 1685, in Tullebølle, Langelands Nørre, Svendborg, Denmark. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 4 daughters. She died on 23 December 1696, in her hometown, at the age of 42.
