When Erik Boström was born on 23 August 1786, in Strömsberg, Uppsala, Sweden, his father, Eric Larsson, was 28 and his mother, Brita Stina Andersdotter, was 29. He married Katarina Maria Hybinette on 27 November 1807, in Tolfta, Uppsala, Sweden. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 5 daughters. He died on 13 October 1832, in Strömsberg, Tolfta, Uppsala, Sweden, at the age of 46, and was buried in Tolfta, Uppsala, Sweden.
