She married James Turner about 1820, in Madison, Kentucky, United States. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 7 daughters. She lived in Franklin Township, Howard, Missouri, United States in 1860. She died on 29 November 1877, in Howard, Missouri, United States, at the age of 81, and was buried in New Franklin, Howard, Missouri, United States.

The First capital was temporary in New York City but by the second term of George Washington the Capital moved to Philadelphia for the following 10 years.
