He lived in Cedar Vale, Chautauqua, Kansas, United States in 1930 and Wellington, Sumner, Kansas, United States in 1935. He died on 10 March 1942, in Sedgwick, Kansas, United States, at the age of 76, and was buried in Wichita Park Cemetery, Wichita, Sedgwick, Kansas, United States.
