When Barbara Wyss was born in October 1693, in Oberdiessbach, Bern, Switzerland, her father, Peter Wyss, was 42 and her mother, Catharina Bachmann, was 38. She married Ulrich Widmer on 6 June 1711, in Oberdiessbach, Bern, Switzerland. She died on 4 January 1760, at the age of 66, and was buried in Oberdiessbach, Bern, Switzerland.
