When Josiah Conant was born on 5 November 1732, in Beverly, Essex, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America, his father, Daniel Conant, was 37 and his mother, Lucy Dodge, was 32. He married Martha Conant on 25 May 1757, in Dudley, Worcester, Massachusetts, United States. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 4 daughters. He died in 1777, at the age of 45.
