Eric Larsson was born on 7 September 1787, in Ockelbo, Gävleborg, Sweden as the son of Lars Ersson and Anna Persdotter. He married Catharina Ersdotter on 26 May 1811, in Hamrånge, Gävleborg, Sweden. They were the parents of at least 1 son and 2 daughters. He died on 26 November 1866, in Hamrånge, Gävleborg, Sweden, at the age of 79.
