When Johann Philipp Hermann was born about 1672, in Nieder Modau, Dieburg, Grand Duchy of Hesse, his father, Johann Jacob Hermann, was 24 and his mother, Anna Maria Barbara, was 24. He married Mrs Anna Elisabetha Hermann about 1693, in Nieder Modau, Dieburg, Hesse, Germany. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 3 daughters. He died on 13 November 1752, in his hometown, at the age of 81.
