Elizabeth Vaughn was born in 1787, in Kentucky, United States as the daughter of Thomas Vaughn and Sarah. She married Shadrack Junior Claywell on 30 December 1809, in Lincoln, Kentucky, United States. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 1 daughter. She lived in Cumberland, Kentucky, United States in 1850 and Union Township, Ste. Genevieve, Missouri, United States in 1860. She died after 1850.
