1915 · Zeppelin Raid

During WWI Zeppelin raids took place all over England. The first of the raids happened from June 6-7, 1915, in Hull, East Yorkshire, England. During the attack 24 people were killed 40 injured, and 40 houses destroyed.

WWI ends in November with armistice. The number of UK war dead runs to several hundred thousand.
