When Joseph Ducros was born in 1693, in Toulouse, Haute-Garonne, France, his father, Jean Baptist Ducros, was 33 and his mother, Marguerite Marin, was 30. He married Marguerite Bélanger on 6 May 1721, in New Orleans, Louisiana, New France. They were the parents of at least 1 daughter. He registered for military service in 1720. He died on 29 November 1729, in Natchez, Natchitoches, Louisiana, United States, at the age of 36.
