When Henry de Deighton was born in 1480, in Deighton, Yorkshire, England, his father, John De Deighton, was 20 and his mother, Margaret Barker, was 21. He married Lady Alice Petty in 1507, in Huddersfield, Yorkshire, England. They were the parents of at least 4 sons. He died in September 1540, in his hometown, at the age of 60, and was buried in Kent, England.
