She died on 11 December 1931, in Williamsburgh Township, Stormont Dundas and Glengarry, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 85, and was buried in Maple Ridge Cemetery, Winchester Township, Stormont Dundas and Glengarry, Ontario, Canada.

1867 · Ontario Founded

In 1883, there was a mining boom in Northern Ontario when mineral deposits were found near Sudbury. Thomas Flanagan was the blacksmith for the Canadian Pacific Railway that noticed the deposits in the river.
Name Meaning
Scottish: nickname from Gaelic Rothach ‘man from Ro’. According to tradition which may be substantially correct, the ancestors of the Munros came from Ireland, from the foot of the river Roe in Derry, whence the name Bun-rotha, giving Mun-rotha by eclipsis of b after the preposition in’.
