Olina Arentsdatter Holmeset was born in 1786, in Borgund, Møre og Romsdal, Norway as the daughter of Arent Olsen and Ingebor Olina Nielsdatter Holmeseth. She married Bendict Berent Colbensen on 25 July 1819, in Borgund, Møre og Romsdal, Norway. They were the parents of at least 1 son and 2 daughters. She died on 30 November 1830, in Myklebust, Herøy, Møre og Romsdal, Norway, at the age of 44, and was buried in Myklebust, Herøy, Møre og Romsdal, Norway.
